The Conscious Keyboard is a smartphone plugin which helps youths become more aware of the consequences of their online messaging behaviours. It uses machine learning to detect hurtful language being typed, has a built in timer which delays the message from being sent, and then prompts youths to reflect on the consequences of the hurtful message. But ultimately, leaves the decision to send in the hands of the youths.
